The Active3® Erection System or pump for erectile dysfunction is an auxiliary certified medical grade device to apply vacuum therapy in cases of erectile dysfunction. The vacuum pump creates a negative pressure or vacuum in the cylinder that surrounds the penis. The cylinder is first placed around the penis and then the pumping operation begins. Through the vacuum thus generated, the blood flows more intensely to the corpora cavernosa. This gives rise to the erection or rigidity of the member. A constricting ring is then placed over the shaft of the penis. The ring prevents blood from flowing out of the penis when the cylinder is removed, maintaining the erection. An erection maintained in this way allows normal and satisfactory sexual intercourse. The constrictor ring should not be used for more than 30 min. continuously.
